How you can help
Volunteer
Beauty Night is looking for volunteers to assist us with our programs and to help our organization grow stronger through fundraising, public relations and marketing. We are looking for services from the following professionals.
- Hair stylists
- Makeup artists and aestheticians (students welcome)
- Massage therapists
- Aromatherapists
- Image consultants
- Fitness instructors
- Employment consultants
- Nutritionists
Female volunteers are preferred for our events, as many of the agencies that we work hold women-only events. Candidates should ideally have access to email to learn about events.
We also require help with the following services
- Public relations
- Fundraising and grant and proposal writing
- Event organizing and facilitation
- Volunteer coordination
- Baking and catering for events
- Fitness "buddies" to exercise with clients
Donate
Beauty Night currently operates with no regular sources of funding. We are close to achieving charitable status and expect to be able to issue charitable tax receipts soon. In the mean time, we welcome any cash donation or the following products and services.
- new makeup, including samples
- lighltly used hair-styling tools and products
- women's clothing
- catering
- multiple copies of popular novels for our literacy program
- tickets to concerts, theatre and events for our cultural program
